PGF Transport, based in the heart of King Country, required an in-depth fit out of their 2008 T404S Kenworth and the TRT team delivered great results.
The upgrade involved replacing the AS2 automatic transmission with a RTLO-20918B manual transmission. This called for the transmission to be completely replaced, the clutch and controls to be changed to the manual version, as well as gear level installation and associated parts. The engine computer was reprogrammed to take the manual transmission. The dash display was also converted to the manual version.
Additionally, the truck was given a general spruce up. This included new guards and mud flaps. TRT smartened up their Kenworth cab and improved driver comfort with a new KAB 554B Kenworth seat and new carpet.
