With an opportunity in the market for an articulating crane designed with safety first; TRT introduce the TIDD PC25 a compact 25tonne capacity Articulating Crane. The TIDD PC25 incorporates automatic side slope de-rating by the integral LSI Robway System Control; along with automatic de-rating in three steps of steering angle articulation. Providing a more useable load chart with a reasonable turning circle, the ‘no fool’ three steps are measured within the articulation cylinder having an electronic device that cannot be tricked or tampered with. Zero to ten degrees is full lift chart, a minor de-rate at eleven to twenty degrees and twenty one to forty two degrees is full de-rate.
With Wabco ABS fitted as standard, the TIDD PC25 has the shortest forward projection and tightest turning radius in class, providing outstanding manoeuvrability. With a boom tip to seat length of only 4.3 metres the driver has optimum position for improved vision. 42 degrees of articulation and 14.4 metres outside turning circle enables this crane to operate in confined spaces.
TIDD PC25 is the first articulated crane designed with a genuine inbuilt fully certified Roll over Protection System (ROPS) Cabin. (Innovation patent 2012100993) The forward mounted two man cabin has two right hand side opening doors providing ease of access for both driver and dogman. Both seats are full air suspension seats rated to 150Kg each with integral lap and diagonal retractable safety belts. Optional FOPS Glass is available.
