TRT (Aust) Pty Ltd has agreed to purchase the business interests of B&N Crane Repairs Pty Ltd from the current owners Troy and Anne Hand. B&N is an extremely successful Service & Parts Provider to the Crane Industry, based in Virginia, Queensland and has provided excellent support as TIDD Crane Service Agents over recent times. Well regarded in the industry, both Troy and Anne will continue to work in the business and we welcome them both onto our management team.
Additionally TRT (Aust) Pty Ltd has been appointed the Manitowoc Crane Group Queensland Distributor for; Mobile, Crawler and Truck Cranes. Troy and his team will relocate to the existing Manitowoc Cranes facility at 1028 Lytton Road, Murarrie opening for business on 1st May 2016. TRT are longstanding New Zealand distributors for Manitowoc, with a relationship that goes back nearly 50 years. Achieving Elite Standard for Manitowoc in 2009, TRT is intent on building this new team into the premiere Crane Service Support Facility in Queensland.
No stranger to Queensland, TRT first opened an office there in 2000, to support its growing heavy haulage trailer manufacturing business. With a range of manufactured product from Trailers and Low Loaders to Pole Borers, Elevating Work Platforms and Mobile Cranes, TRT are very focussed on our commitment to Customer Service and believe this new facility in Brisbane will allow us to better support this important region.
